Semiramis, Queen of Heaven

Some may claim today that Christianity is Just another manifestation of the pantheon stew of pagan, roman and Greek mythology.

When Jesus said to Pilate, "I came to bear witness to the truth, "Pilate answered him cynically: "what is truth?"

The skeptical world responds today with this same question. Paul tells us to always be ready to give a defense for what we believe.

The truth about the emergence of pagan religions, and the place of Jesus, the son of God, can be known and verified by the scientific and archeological evidence emerging today.

To date, the EARLIEST ARCHEOLOGICAL RELIC that has ever been unearthed anywhere in the world is a stone "Mother-Goddess" icon that was found in the region of ancient Mesopotamia, the site of the Tower of Babel. This find is universally believed to be a religious relic depicting Semiramis of Babylon.

In her role as the Mother-Goddess, she was also venerated as the "Queen of Heaven". Her regal title can still be found in evidence today: namely on the ancient gate to Babylon that is dedicated to the "Queen of Heaven".

The unearthing of this crude stone relic at the site of Babel is enormously confirming evidence that virtually ALL pagan religions began at this archeological source because nothing has been found predating it.

Other evidences to support this were found in the late 19th century. The world’s OLDEST TEXTS ON CUNEIFORM CLAY tablets were also unearthed in the same region of Mesopotamia after having been buried for at least four thousand years. Revealed in the texts was the life-story of the Mother-Goddess of Babylon.

From these archeological findings we can begin to trace the origins of the myth, legend and lore of global Goddess worship that is found in virtually all of the pagan cultures of the world. What we find in this search for pagan origins is that it will eventually lead you back to this one single historical figure, Semiramis, the wife of Nimrod. She was the reigning Queen of Babylon both during his reign and for forty-one years after his death

The area where the stone relic of the Mother-Goddess was found in Mesopotamia is the area where Noah and his family left the ark after the flood. They settled over the surrounding districts of Northern Iran and Syria as well as eastern Turkey. Within approximately five hundred years, a decided majority of Noah’s descendants lived in the lower regions of Mesopotamia known in history as the Fertile Crescent and is the approximate location of the Garden of Eden.

Modern archaeology has confirmed this key Biblical truth: that the first inhabitants of these areas were homogeneous in race, language and culture. The most reliable evidences and researches indicate that this culture spread from this region throughout the earth. The Bible’s explanation for this is that God struck the pagan kingdom of Babel because of its evil and scattered her people over the face of the earth. They carried the false religious system of Babel with them.

It is astonishing to some that when we search for the origin and migrations of civilizations and the races over the earth, both the scientific and the Scriptural views are in exact agreement. The only point of difference is the time scale involved!

Because of it’s rejection of the Bible, orthodox science is required to construct a mythical stone-age several millennia long in order to account for the same phenomena: namely the existence of civilization long before the flood. This is a truth clearly revealed in Scripture. It is denied because orthodox science and most archaeologists today are notoriously anti-Christian, and seek to discredit the Bible record. For this publication, we will make the assumption that the flood is a truth in fact in mankind’s history.

No matter what your position is in this matter, what becomes evident is that neither the archeological evidences nor the proven scientific truth-of-fact that has been gleaned from the body of ancient legends contradicts in any way a proper understanding of inspired Biblical revelations. Therefore, the Scriptural framework of Bible history remains the best basis for us to reconstruct the historical development of the earliest religious icon in the world, the pagan Mother Goddess of Babylon.

In this effort we will find that historical facts of Scripture become confirmed in archeological discovery and these bear witness to the accuracy of Biblical history. One of these confirmed facts in history is that the first cities ever to be built after the flood were in Mesopotamia. The first of these was quite naturally named after the very first city built by man before the flood... .Enoch. This name has gone through many linguistic permutations and has come to us today as Erech or Uruk in Sumaria.

Uruk is considered to be the first great urban center after the flood, and scholars consider it the place where writing and literacy first flourished.

After the flood, there were seven major cities built and are enumerated in the Bible account as those conquered by Nimrod. His name means "let us rebel". His conquests established the first world empire: the Kingdom of Babel in the land of Shinar. The Bible says of Nimrod, "he began to be a mighty one [of evil] upon the earth. And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, Erech, Accad and Calneh in the land of Shinar." Genesis 10

The best estimates place these conquests at about 2400 B.C.E. and about 1000 years after the flood.

Nimrod not only wanted to be Lord over his empire but he also wanted to glorify himself as "god". In order to accomplish this, Nimrod seized upon a sacred promise spoken by the Lord at the garden of Eden after Adam’s fall. In Genesis 3:15, the Lord declared the first Messianic prophecy when He said to Satan (in the form of the serpent), "the Seed of the woman shall bruise you in the head [a blow of utter destruction] and you shall bruise Him on the heel." [suffering but eventual victory for the Seed of the woman].

Through the promise of "the Seed of the woman", God was prophesying a future Messianic Saviour Who would triumph over Satan. His victory would once more restore to the earth the Kingdom of God that had been lost at Eden through Adam’s sin.

This promise was made by the Lord before the flood and it was proclaimed all over the known world by His faithful servant Enoch. Enoch was the seventh of Adam’s sons and foreshadowed God’s true priesthood today.

Despite the destruction of the flood, the Lord’s promise survived through the sons of Noah. However, even though Noah was a righteous man, a godly and ungodly line of men re-emerged in his sons.

Nimrod was Noah’s grandson from Ham, and he set about to conquer and establish his own kingdom domain in rebellion to God’s plan. He developed the first organized false religion at Babel. This was based on a perverted astrology, occultic mysticism and the pyramid structure of the Tower of Babel.

In order to justify his status as deity, Nimrod established his wife, Semiramis, as the promised "woman with the seed" that would save the world previously revealed in Genesis 3:15. Through a complicated explanation devised by Nimrod, Semiramis was understood to be both his wife AND his mother. In this way, he raised himself up as THE god-incarnate son: the first counterfeit saviour of the world.

Demanding to be worshiped as "god" in his kingdom, Nimrod fashioned himself as the original "Sun-god" and called himself "BaaI"; which simply means "the Lord" as translated from "Elohim" in Hebrew. Semiramis was his female equivalent and she was called "Baalti" meaning "My Lady" in English, or "Madonna" in Italian.

As the first Sun-god, Nimrod initially presented himself as the prime deity: the divine son of a divine mother. He intended to rule pre-eminent over the form of religious mysticism he had designed.

But Semiramis had much grander plans for herself. Not being satisfied with merely being known as "the mother of god," she had Nimrod murdered.

As the reigning Queen of Babylon for the next forty-one years, she established herself in a more divine form that would spread worldwide: the Queen of Heaven. She assumed the throne of the mystery religion of the Sun-God that was its’ companion.

The identifying symbol of this cult were mystical pyramids fashioned after the Tower of Babel. Thus she laid the groundwork for all the pagan religious systems of antiquity as well as many that are still evident today.

From these origins, the Mother-Goddess cult is universally associated with Sun-God worship. Her image emerged in Canaan as Ashtoreth or Astarte with her consort, the Sun-god Baal; in Egypt as Isis with Osiris; in Greece as Aphrodite/ Artemis and Apollo and in ancient Rome as Venice with her counterfeit "god-incarnate" son, Jupiter.

In Europe she was venerated as the goddess Europa and was depicted in art as the pagan goddess riding pre-eminently upon the sacred bull over turbulent waters.  The sacred bull was symbolic of Baal, who gave her the political and religious power to rule globally with absolute power.  See the final section of this publication, “Update  -  the Mother-Goddess re-emerges as the symbol of the European Union.”

In Saudi Arabia prior to Islam in 622 A.D., she was known as Al-Lat (the Goddess) and her consort was Al-Lah (the God). She was also known as the "mother of the gods" and the "earth goddess" of Arabia. Her symbol was the crescent moon, which seems to have been adopted as the symbol of Islam today.

In Asia the mother was known as Cybele, in India she was called Devka, and in Tibet she is the goddess Tara. She is known as "Shing Moo, the Holy Mother of China" and is the "holy woman" of the North American Indians. "But regardless of her name or place", says one author, "she was the wife of Baal, the Queen of Heaven who bore fruit although she never conceived." (please see time-line chart attached)

Over history the names changed; such as Inanna in Sumeria, Astarte, Ashtaroth, Eostre in Canaan and later as Eastur and Ishtar in Rome. But all ultimately reverted back to Semiramis of Babylon as their origin.

SEMIRAMIS IS THE SOLE MODEL AND THE ORIGINAL OF EVERY GODDESS AND FEMALE CULT FIGURE IN THE ANCIENT AND MODERN WORLDS (either directly or by derivation.)

"All religions of the earth, except the one true religion of the Eternal God are but polluted copies of the original. They are all counterfeits, introducing their own gods, but maintaining the principles of the religion of Yahweh. All have altars, sacrifices, offer prayers, all believe in life after death and all have a priesthood. But all are counterfeits of the true God, the true altar, the true sacrifice, the true resurrection, the true priesthood." (0ur Lost Legacy, John D. Garr)

In a vision given to Zechariah, the Lord describes the delivery system of the Mother Goddess cult to Babel in the land of Shinar

"Then the angel who talked with me came out and said to me, "Lift your eyes now, and see what this is that goes forth."

So I asked, "What is it?" And he said, "It is a basket that is going forth." He also said, "This is their resemblance throughout the earth."

"Here is a lead disc lifted up, and this is a woman sitting inside the basket";

then he said, "This is WICKEDNESS!" And he thrust her down into the basket, and threw the lead cover over its mouth.

Then I raised my eyes and looked, and there were two women, coming with the wind in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork and they lifted up the basket between earth and heaven. [the stork is an unclean bird in scripture so this is describing demons]

So I said to the angel who talked with me, "Where are they carrying the basket?"

And he said to me, "To build a House [a Temple] for it in the land of Shinar; when it is ready, the basket will be set there on its base." Zechariah 5:5-11

Many years after murdering Nimrod, Semiramis bore a son, Tammuz. The true father of Tammuz is unknown but Semiramis declared Tammuz to be the god-incarnate son of the long-deceased Sun-god, Nimrod. (also called Baal during this period).

By declaring Tammuz to be the god-incarnate son of her womb, she attributed to herself the title of "Queen of Heaven" the "mother of the gods" and later "the mother of god". In this way, she came to also be venerated as the "divine mother" and her defining image would become the iconic "mother and child." Through her deceptive claims, she derived her deification from the divine nature she falsely attributed to her child.

Though this cult would always evolve as a "mother/son" alliance, the "Mother-goddess" was always the preferred object of worship over-shadowing her son in divine attributes and power. The son was exhibited merely as a child forever in his mother’s arms. He was portrayed as remotely indifferent to any human involvement or in manifesting true divine power.

In stark contrast, the mother’s image was displayed in magnificent artistic array, crowned in majesty and invested with the exquisite beauty attributed to Semiramis. These characteristics are still being attributed to the "Queen of Heaven" that continues to be venerated by some in Christendom today.

To justify worship as the "divine mother", Semiramis had elevated herself to the stature of deity just like her god-incarnate son. As these two made their way across human history, their true identity is found over and over again by many different names and titles in the Sun-god worship of antiquity.

Under her titles "the Queen of Heaven" and the "mother of god" she became an object of universal adoration. Eventually, she would come to enjoy the most profound religious veneration by all the Kings of Europe and Asia through the influence of a powerful Roman Empire.

When Caesar invaded Britain, he was surprised to discover the Druid priests already worshiping their own form of the ‘mother of god’ as Virgo-Patitura. The "Mother-goddess" was already being worshiped by the pagans in Britain because, after God struck the Tower of Babel, He had caused this religious system to spread over "the face of the whole world".

The worship of the mother and child was given many different names in various languages as it evolved over man’s history. Numerous iterations of ancient goddess relics actually depict the Mother-Goddess, Semiramis, with her god-child in her arms.

Historically, every pagan culture has a Mother-goddess at it’s heart. Essential aspects of most of these cultures are mystical pyramids fashioned after the tower of Babel and connected to Sun-god worship and astrology. The most common archeological find unearthed over the globe today are Mother-goddess icons in varying primitive forms with related Sun-god and pyramid worship. The Bible refers to these pagan pyramids as "the high places" and more specifically as "the high places of Baal" (Jeremiah 19:5/ 32:35)

An historical example of this can be found in Isis and Osiris, the Sun-God of Egypt. Isis is depicted as the Mother-Goddess with her god-child Horus. They reigned over the mystery religion of Egypt defined by many famous pyramids still standing today. Monumental pyramids that are connected to astrology were principal aspects of the Mother-Goddess/ Sun-god culture.

In South America the ancient Mayan culture and the Inca Indians have left the evidence of their Sun-god worship in the form of mystical pyramids that are based on occultic astrology.

The earliest Mother-goddesses were venerated as female deities of fertility and sensual expression. Her veneration was marked by orgiastic and unrestrained rites of fertility and sexuality. She was worshiped as the goddess of all procreation and it was concluded that she must be highly sexual and extremely fertile to give birth to ALL the gods.

However, during the period of the prophet Isaiah, God revealed that a "VIRGIN" would conceive the Messiah. This was yet another clue regarding the birth of the true Savior. From that time forward, the sexual landscape of the global Mother-Goddess cult dramatically swerved into a completely diverse expression.

After this period, the Mother-Goddesses began to emerge with a revised demeanor of purity and virtue.

And so, Semiramis herself was transformed over time to become the "virgin mother of god." In this cult, the "divine mother" is not considered a mere projection of human motherhood. Female divinities give birth, but, unlike human mothers, they are not considered to be polluted by the event of birth because of their supernatural status.

The image of the "mother and child" was so firmly entrenched in the pagan mind that it was the preferred object of worship in the state-sanctioned religion of the Roman Empire PRIOR to the Christian era. As Babylon, Egypt, Persia and Greece had expanded their kingdoms over the earth, the mystery religion of the Mother-goddess had been spread with them. (reference C)

By 300 A.D. the image of the Mother-goddess in Rome was most likely that of Ishtar.....the current evolvement of Semiramis. Rome worshipped her as the divine Mother-goddess of Mithria: the Roman Sun-god. This popular form of sun-worship in Rome was called Mithras. (reference C)

True to the Babylonian model, Ishtar wore an elaborate crown and bore a god-child in her arms. She was also attributed with all the ancient Babylonian identities of the goddess: the "Immaculate Virgin", "Mother of God" and "The Queen of Heaven". Of course as we have seen, these titles all had their origins with Semiramis of Babylon.

Pre-Christian Rome had violently persecuted and martyred the early Christians in the Empire from the time of the Apostles until the fourth century. However, in 325 A.D. the Roman Emperor Constantine assumed the mantle of a Christian and, in effect, made Christianity the new state religion of the Empire at the Council of Nicea that same year.

The face of early Christianity would change profoundly at this stage of church history. After 300 years of animosity between the Jews and the Empire, politics and anti-semitism prevailed. Constantine and his Roman bishops disdainfully rejected the Apostolic roots of the early church that had existed prior to 100 A.D. when the last Apostle John died.

At the Council of Nicea, over 300 Bishops were assembled to formally define the "new" Roman form of Christianity. Of the 300 Bishops that Constantine selected, none were Jewish.

The Bishops presiding over the Council were actually drawn from the already long-established clergy of the Roman religious system that existed prior to Christianity. The Roman Bishops were steeped in their pagan traditions and were hostile to the Apostolic foundations because they had been established in the Hebrew Scriptures as their sole source and authority. Their complaint was that the precepts of the Hebrew Scriptures were "too Jewish".

Because of this hostility towards the Hebrew Bible, the Bishops summarily dismissed it’s inspired authority. They granted authority over all Scripture: to the clergy. meaning they could reject any part of the ancient Scripture that they disapproved of. This authority is called the "Magisterium" or "the infallible Teaching Authority of the Roman Church"

Eventually, the hostility and disrespect for the Hebrew Bible became so vitriolic that the Bishops voted to rename the Hebrew Scriptures by a new name, "the Old Testament", implying abolition, irrelevance and spiritual insignificance. The "New Testament" was codified to replace it.

The Roman clergy began to develop Greco-Roman theology and doctrines that were unheard of by the Apostles when they walked the earth.

In this way they rejected the Apostolic model of faith called "the Way" that had been established by the Apostles. "The Way" was the true form of Christian doctrine and worship as it was revealed by Christ and the Apostles. According to early church history, Passover was celebrated for 300 years AFTER the death of Christ until Constantine outlawed it to separate believing Jews from Christians.

"At the council of Nicea the anti-Semitic Constantine outlawed circumcision, and replaced Passover with Easter and the Sabbath day with Sunday." (Tabernacles/ Sukkot/ Zaide Reuven)

Not only were the foundational Hebraic precepts rejected but, in fact, they were prohibited by Roman Law and/or reinvented to fit the Greek tradition preferred by the Roman bishops. Part of this re-invention was the introduction of church idols in worship. The Apostles could have never accepted this because of the Lord’s commandment:

"You shall not make idols for yourselves; neither a carved image nor a sacred pillar shall you rear up for yourselves; nor shall you set up an engraved stone in your land, to bow down to it; for I am the LORD your God". Leviticus 26:1

One of the most shocking transformations in this "re-invention" of Christianity was the inclusion of the myriad idols and statues of the Mother-goddess that had existed in abundance all over the Empire for centuries prior to the Christian era.

Despite their pagan origin, the mother-goddess icons were not abandoned by the newly "Christian" Roman Empire. The statues were merely re-identified and worshiped in the revised form of the "virgin Mary" with her God-incarnate son, Jesus. Thus, the pagan "mother and child" cult entered Christianity as "Mary with the infant Jesus". However, true to the pagan tradition, both mother AND son were objects of EQUAL worship and veneration as EQUAL divinities.

For this theological purpose the poor and humble Jewish girl, Mary, was transformed into the ancient role of pagan god-bearer. In this way, the Roman church was able to find continuity in Mary’s perceived capacity as "Theotokos" or the "Mother-goddess" of the incarnate divinity.

In this transformation, Mary, was/is venerated as a human partner in the unfolding nature of God. True to the Babylonian model, the Roman church venerated MARY as THE supreme intercessor with God on behalf of mankind: thus usurping the sole providence of Christ as Intercessor. Jesus emphatically said, "no-one comes to the Father except by ME." John 14:06

In the role of the "supreme intercessor", Mary was being transformed into the model of Semiramis who had also borne the title "the Mediatrix [intercessor] to god." (Ref A)

For theological continuity, Mary who in history was the simple Jewish wife of a peasant Joseph, was granted all divine attributes of deity by Roman Church "Authority". In the manner of all the ancient pagan goddesses, she is said to rule pre-eminent over an assembly of lesser deities also in the form of idols. These lesser deities were renamed after the Apostles and canonized as "saints".

A modern example of this can be found today. The grand statute of the Sun-god Apollo was given a new name at this time and can be found in Rome today as the image of the Apostle Peter.

The Magisterium, or the "infallible" Teaching Authority of the Roman Church informs the faithful that Mary is the "Mother of God" and attributes to her a royal title in the manner of the mother of a worldly sovereign: namely as "Queen Mother". She is also addressed in prayer and literature as Queen of Heaven, the Divine Mother, the Immaculate Virgin, etc.

To continue the lore and legend of Semiramis, Mary herself is said to have been divinely conceived and born without sin. She is said to have lived an "immaculate life" as the "immaculate virgin". This is a doctrine that goes against all Biblical revelation.

Although it is not Biblically supported in any sense whatsoever, it is Babylonian in it’s source. It comes from the legend that Semiramis had been super-naturally conceived by the gods. This state of divinity made her capable of living a sinless "immaculate" life. These attributes were actually echoes of the legend of the birth of Semiramis. She was presented as a divine child who had been delivered to the earth by the gods.

For this purpose, the gods had dropped an egg to the earth and a glorious Semiramis had emerged from it. The famous statue of Venus rising from the sea in great splendor is an artistic expression of this same myth.

"Hyginus, the Egyptian historian who was the curator of the Palatine library in Rome at the time of Augustus, wrote: "an egg of wondrous size is said to have fallen from heaven into the river Euphrates. The fishes rolled it to the bank, where the doves having settled upon it, hatched it, and out came Venus, who afterwards was called the Syrian Goddess [Astarte]. The egg became one of the chief symbols of Venus or Astarte.

The origin of the Easter egg is traced back to the ancient civilizations of Egypt, Babylon, Phoenicia, and Greece, where the universe is said to have been born from a mighty world egg. The ancient peoples of Egypt, Persia, Greece, Rome and China exchanged eggs at their spring fertility festivals. In Babylonia, eggs were presented to the goddess of fertility, Astarte (Eostre).

Pagan influence can also be seen in the replacement of the Passover symbolism of the lamb with that of the Easter hare. The Easter hare was once a bird which the goddess Eostre changed into a four-footed creature. The hare, or rabbit, became a symbol of fertility, presumably because rabbits are notably prolific. The hare laid eggs which became the symbol of the abundant new life of spring. Thus, the Easter egg is the production not of some mystical bird but of a rabbit or hare."

By mingling Roman paganism into Christianity, a strange toxic stew of confusing theology had emerged. But the underlying cult of the Mother-goddess had not been abandoned and continues to course through the blood-stream of a great part of Christendom today.

Mary had been elevated to the status of the "Queen of Heaven" in the fourth century. The priesthood of Rome taught that when her sojourn among the living was concluded, she moved the seat of her power to Heaven. There God Almighty was alleged to have named her Queen over all things so that she might conform to the all-powerful image of her son. There is no scriptural basis for this whatsoever.

Like him, she was alleged to have been bodily assumed to heaven, and LIKE HIM, she received the power to deliver souls from eternal damnation. This is what the Roman Catechism teaches;

966. "Finally the immaculate Virgin, preserved free from all sin, when the course of her earthly life was finished, was taken up body and soul into heavenly glory, and exalted by the Lord as Queen over all things, so that she might be the more fully conformed to her Son, the Lord of Lords and conqueror of sin and death. The assumption of the Blessed Virgin is a singular participation in her Son’s Resurrection and an anticipation of the resurrection of other Christians.

In giving birth, you (Mary) kept your virginity: in your Dormition you did not leave the world, O Mother of God, but were joined to the source of Life. YOU conceived the living God and by YOUR prayers, will deliver our souls from death.  (Byzantine Liturgy, Troparion Aug 15th)

969. This motherhood of Mary in the order of grace continues uninterrupted from the consent which she loyally gave at the Annunciation and which she sustained

without wavering beneath the cross . . . taken up to heaven she did not lay aside this saving office, but by HER manifold intercession CONTINUES to bring us the gifts of eternal salvation. Therefore, the Blessed Virgin is invoked in the Church under titles of Advocate, Helper, Benefactress and Mediatrix." (ref A)

The mother-goddess cult is alive and well today. We can recognize it in common references to "Mother Earth" and "Mother Nature". These terms come from the worship of Gaia, the "Mother [Goddess] of the Earth".

Earth-worship has found a happy home in the environmental movement today. In many cases it is the perfect disguise for those who really are worshiping Gaia, or "mother-earth". The "tree-huggers" see man as an unworthy intruder upon the divine territory of the Mother-goddess.

Another iteration is the growing resurgence of Witch-craft and Wicca. It expresses itself through witches who consider themselves actualized "goddesses". Their occultic rituals are practiced to harness and control spiritual forces on earth. In both Witch-craft and Satanism, seminars are offered to "seek the goddess within".

Then there is the "feminist movement" today.

Because the earliest archeological evidence has produced the Mother-goddess icon out of Mesopotamia, the modern feminist consensus is that "God was a WOMAN!" This has heaped boundless fuel upon the fire of the modern feminist movement. In reality this is simply another dimension of the Mother-Goddess cult. In feminist theology, prayers are made to "Mother-god".  Unborn children are sacrificed on the altar of feminism: citing the feminists’ right to terminate unborn life in her body. The feminist has usurped the providence of God on the matters of life or death in her womb.

Considered to be the first "feminist", Semiramis had murdered her husband Nimrod because he had not accorded her due acknowledgment as THE "Queen of Heaven" and supreme deity over all.

Like her husband, Semiramis stood in opposition to everything God ordered and commanded of His people. He created Adam first to be "king" over the dominion of Eden with Eve as his help-mate and partner.

Semiramis’ cult attempts to revoke all of God’s established order in creation, placing herself as the "divine goddess" over all. There are many echoes of this rebellion against masculine "authority" in the feminist movements of this age such as the demand for gender-neutral Bibles.

In l997, Newsweek ran a cover story on the Virgin Mary. In the article they write, "In many ways the 20th century has belonged to Mary. From almost every continent, visionaries have reported more than 400 apparitions’ of the Virgin - more than in the previous three centuries combined. Taken together, these visions point to what the Marian Movement believes is a millennial "Age of Mary".

A staggering 15 to 20 million Marion faithful visit a single shrine in Quadalupe, Mexico, every year! They come to see the apparitions of her signs and wonders. To the faithful, Mary also bears the title "the Queen of Heaven" today all over the world.

Jesus warned us about this in Matthew 24:26

"For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."

Thomas Petrisko writes about this in his book "Call of the Ages":

"millions and millions on all continents of the globe have heard and responded to the Virgin Mary’s apparition and messages. Indeed there is a significant upswing in attendance at Marian shrines everywhere."

Here are a few of the messages from the Queen of Heaven from apparition sites. The contrasting message from the Bible follows each message.

Mary: "I ALONE am able still to save you from the calamities which approach. Those who place their confidence in ME will be saved."

["And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent THE SON TO BE THE SAVIOUR of the world." 1 John 4:14]

Mary: "Once more I am here....the Co-Redemptrix, Mediatrix and Advocate is now standing before you. I have chosen this day: on this day the Lady will be crowned. Theologians and apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ, listen carefully.....on this date "the Lady of the Nations will receive her official title of "Lady of ALL nations."

["Come down and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon: sit on the ground WITHOUT A THRONE O daughter of the Chaldeans. For you shall no more be called tender and delicate....THE LADY OF THE KINGDOMS [Nations]" Isaiah 47: 1-15]

[I am the Lord, this is My name: and My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to carved images. Isaiah 42:8]

Mary "My sign is emerging. God wills it thus. Soon I will come my children! Soon, I will be in your midst with a great light. I will enlighten the entire world. I will pass above everyone in a cloud and everyone will see me. I will come soon, my sons, to travel through the entire world. I will give a great sign in the sky for those who will still want to be saved. All those who have recourse TO ME, who have a look of repentance, THIS WILL BE SUFFICIENT TO SAVE THEM."

["I, even I, am the Lord, and besides Me there is NO SAVIOR. Isaiah 43:11]

[And then shall appear the sign of the SON OF MAN in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the SON OF MAN coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory." Matthew 24:30]

God mockingly addresses the coming judgment of the self-proclaimed "Queen of Heaven" in Isaiah 47:1-15:

"Come down and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon; sit on the ground WITHOUT A THRONE, O daughter of the Chaldeans! For you shall no more be called tender and delicate....the lady of kingdoms."

[the Queen of Heaven in scripture DOES NOT HAVE A THRONE, either here or in heaven].

Your nakedness shall be uncovered, Yes, your shame will be seen; I will take vengeance, And I will not arbitrate like a man.

Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, And the monthly prognosticators stand up and save you from what shall come upon you. Behold, they shall be as stubble, the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame; It shall not be a coal to be warmed by, nor a fire to sit before!

Thus shall they be to you with whom you have labored, your merchants from your youth; they shall wander each one to his quarter. No one shall save you." Isaiah 47:1-15

Semiramis stood in rebellious defiance of God in every respect, and she is a type and foreshadow of the coming one-world apostate church called in her name (Mystery Babylon). God also refers to her as a ‘harlot" due to her spiritual infidelity with pagan gods. He will utterly destroy this false church system at the end of the age.

"So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication.

And on her forehead a name was written:

MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT. THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. Rev 17:1-6

"I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.

And he [the angel] cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, "Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her [spiritual infidelity] and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury."

And I heard another voice from heaven saying, "Come out of her, My people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.

In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, ‘I SIT AS QUEEN, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.’

Therefore her plagues will come in one day; death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her." Rev 17 and 18.

The E.U. so identifies with the Tower of Babel as their symbol that they even designed their Parliament Building in Strasbourg, France, to be an architectural replica of the ancient symbol.

The flag of the European Union also adopts the stars that form a crescent over the ancient artistic rendering of the Tower of Babel.  These are counterfeits of the twelve stars of Revelation that symbolize the 12 tribes of Israel.  (Rev 12:1).

For God’s true remnant, these signs are meant to comfort and encourage His people because the Lord will ultimately destroy Europa, the false religious system of this age and also destroy the bull that she rides, the “one-world dictator” known in the past as Baal.   In all prophecy we see that the Lord has equipped us to understand and to cope with prophetic events that help us identify the counterfeit religious and political systems in the world. 

"Then the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord and served Baal. They forsook the Lord and served BAAL [the Sun-god] and ASHTORETH [the mother-goddess] Judges 2:11-13

Then they put Saul’s armor in the temple of Ashtoreth....."

1Samuel 31:10

"for Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians and after Milcom [the Sun-god] the abomination of the Ammonites" 1 Kings 11:5

"And the people of Israel again did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, and served Baal [the Sun-god] and Ashtaroth [the mother-goddess]. . and they forsook the Lord, and did not serve Him." Judges 10:6

"Do you not see what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?  The children gather wood, the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead dough, to make cakes for the QUEEN OF HEAVEN; and they pour out drink offerings to other gods, that they may provoke Me to anger.

Do they provoke Me to anger?" says the LORD. Do they not provoke themselves, to the shame of their own faces?" Jeremiah 7:17

"Then all the men who knew that their wives had offered incense to other gods, and all the women who stood by, a great assembly... all the people who dwelt in Pathros in the land of Egypt, answered Jeremiah: "as for the word which you have spoken to us in the name of the Lord, we will not listen to you, but we will do everything that we have vowed, burn incense to the QUEEN OF HEAVEN and pour out libations to her [some assume this was a form of blood sacrifices], as we did, both we and our fathers, our kings and our princes, in all the cities of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem: for then we had plenty of food and prospered, and saw no evil. But since we left off burning incense to her, the Queen of Heaven and pouring out libations to her, we have lacked everything and have been consumed by the sword and by famine and the women said "when we burned incense to the Queen of Heaven and poured out libations to her. . . . . was it without our husbands approval that we made cakes for her bearing her image?" Jeremiah 44:17-25

"then he brought me to the door of the gate of the Lord’s House [the Temple] . . and behold there sat women weeping for TAMMUZ. ....between the porch and the altar were about twenty-five men....their backs toward the Temple and their faces toward the east...and they were worshiping the sun toward the east." Ezekiel 8:14-16

"You shall not make idols for yourselves; neither a carved image nor a sacred pillar shall you rear up for yourselves; nor shall you set up an engraved stone in your land, to bow down to it; for I am the LORD your God". Leviticus 26:1

"Little children, keep yourselves from idols.".

1 John 5:21

"It shall be in that day," says the LORD of hosts, "that I will cut off the names of the idols from the land, and they shall no longer be remembered" Zechariah 13:2

Ancient Babylonian Titles (transferred to Mary in the fourth century)

Mary as "Mediator": Mediatrix 

Prayers are directed to her exclusively and are an intricate part of worship in Romanism. This title was yet another name linked to Semiramis of Babylon.

Semiramis bore as one of her titles, "Mylitta" that is, the "Mediatrix to God" meaning "Mediator" (the SOLE channel to petition God in prayer.)

Madonna: My Lady: Mea Domina

Nimrod was known as Baal or "Lord" and Semiramis was the female equivalent

"Baalti" means "My Lady" in English: In Latin, "Mea Domina" is corrupted as "Madonna" in Italian.

Mithras, was the sun-god worship of the counterfeit saviour Mithria and his Mother-goddess Ishtar. Ishtar was venerated as "the immaculate virgin", "the Queen of Heaven" and as the "Mother of God". This was the mystery religion from Babylon that had evolved into the Roman Empire during the time of Christ. 

Mithria was the consort of the Mother-Goddess and had evolved into a complex Roman "father-god". All his priests were addressed as "father". It was about this priesthood that Jesus declared, "call no man your father upon the earth for One is your Father, which is in Heaven." Mat 23:9

Jesus was stating that "the Father", in a spiritual sense of authority, was a divine title reserved FOR GOD ALONE.

Referring specifically to the counterfeit religion of the Mother-goddess, Jesus describes the doctrine as "the depths of Satan". Rev 2:24

The occultic teachings of the Kingdom of Babel (Babylon) included the REVERSAL of the Biblical account of the creation of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. The Babylonian account depicts the serpent as a benevolent being intent upon freeing mankind from a legalistic and cruel God, Yahweh. In this tradition, the serpent is seen as the saviour of mankind. The serpent (or dragon) has become the symbol of benevolence and goodness all throughout the pagan world, and especially in most Far Eastern cultures.
